We begin a three session series. For the last year and a half, the roles that would normally be carried out by a Lead Pastor have been shared between the Elders and our two Interim Pastors in a "Team Model". Although we arrived at this way of operating through a series of unplanned circumstances we do recognize a number of parallels for this approach in both the Old and New Testaments. This week Wayne Brodland will bring the message “Lessons from Church History”. In order to provide a broad historical perspective for these approaches, Wayne’s message today will look at operating models from the times of Abraham, Moses, Biblical synagogues, the Middle Ages and modern churches. This message intends to open a discussion to see what we can apply from the history of church structure.
